Educational Grant for Surgical Oncology Fellowship
(December 2006) Dr. Charles Scoggins was awarded an educational grant from Sanofi-Aventis to help support the surgical oncology fellowship. The money will be used to help with program support and educational efforts.

NCI Grant Awarded
(Oct. 2006) Dr. Anees Chagpar garners R13 five-year grant from the NCI in support of the Louisville Breast Cancer Update.

Collaborative SBIR Grant Awarded
(Oct. 2006) Dr. Anees Chagpar received a SBIR grant from the NCI for a collaborative project with Robin Medical in designing and testing a new targeting device for breast biopsies in the intraoperative MRI. This is a 3-year award.
